Twin-shaft crusher maintenance requires comprehensive attention to equipment cleaning, lubrication management, replacement of wearing parts, and safe operation. Specific methods are as follows:
Regular Cleaning and Maintenance
Internal Cleaning: After powering off, remove the upper cover and use specialized tools to remove residual material from the blade gaps, transmission components, and crushing chamber to prevent accumulation that could affect performance.
External Cleaning: Regularly clean the diesel engine, chassis, and working mechanism to remove dust and dirt, and inspect components for damage or leaks.
Lubrication System Maintenance
Bearing Lubrication: Use No. 3 lithium-based grease (fill 1/2-2/3 of the bearing cavity space) and refill every 3,000 hours. Replace the grease when it becomes dirty or aged. Avoid using inferior lubricants.
Gearbox Lubrication: After the initial oil change, replace the lubricant (VG320 grade) every 5,000 hours. If the ambient temperature is below zero, preheat the oil or use a low-freezing-point oil.
Inspection and Replacement of Wear Parts
Blades and Liners: Regularly inspect for wear. Wear exceeding 15%-30% of the tooth height requires welding repair or replacement.
Bearings and Seals: Inspect bearing clearance and temperature. Replace bearings if abnormal noise or vibration is detected. During extended downtime, apply anti-rust oil and manually rotate the bearings regularly.
Safe Operation and Daily Management
Prevent Overload: Monitor load conditions to avoid overloading the equipment due to excessive material.
Electrical System: Regularly inspect the battery and motor wiring. Preheat the motor in winter.
Seasonal Maintenance
Winter: Replace low-temperature gear oil (such as SAE 5W-40) and check the freezing point of the antifreeze.
During Extended Downtime: Thoroughly clean the bearings, seal them, and store them monthly.
