Steam Sterilizer Production Process

Preparation

Preparing the Sterilizer: Clean the sterilizer and check that it is functioning properly.
Preparing the Operating Area: Ensure the operating area is clean and tidy, and that the walls and floor meet operating requirements.
Preparing Items: Identify the items to be sterilized and clean them thoroughly to prevent the steam sterilizer from sterilizing effectively.
Preparing Water: Fill the steam sterilizer with an appropriate amount of distilled water and ensure the water level is normal.

Loading Items
Packaging Items: Pack the items to be sterilized and lay them flat on the sterilizer's loading tray, ensuring that there is no overlap or squeezing between items.
Using Shelves: If the loading tray is low, using shelving can be done without compromising sterilization effectiveness.
Handling Chemicals and Biologicals: When sterilizing chemicals or biologicals in a sterilizer, always consult the corresponding instructions and operate according to the instructions.

Operating the Sterilizer
Adjusting the Equipment: Follow the sterilizer's instruction manual to correctly adjust equipment parameters, such as operating time and temperature. Starting the Equipment: Turn on the sterilizer, purge the air, and then allow steam to fill the sterilizer chamber.
Starting Sterilization: When the internal temperature of the steam sterilizer reaches the preset target temperature, the timer begins. The timer should automatically start after the equipment is turned on.
Monitoring the Process: During the sterilization process, constantly monitor the temperature and pressure of the equipment to ensure they remain within the preset control temperature and pressure ranges. Also, ensure that the equipment is operating normally.

Unloading Items
Stopping the Equipment: When the sterilization time expires, turn off the power to the sterilizer and stop the equipment.
Venting Steam: Open the sterilizer's exhaust valve to release the steam.
Removing Items: Wait until the internal temperature of the sterilizer drops to a safe level before removing the sterilized items.
Inspecting Items: After removing the items, inspect them to ensure they are fully sterilized.
